What will 2013 bring?
Happy February! I hope you are all doing well, especially those of you on the East coast braving this wild and bone-chilling winter! Over the past few months I’ve been taking time to rest, process, rejuvenate, and create space to vision the next phase of the journey. I’m feeling energized and excited about 2013. January was slow and strange… I felt a bit disoriented as I let go of the old to bring in the new. I found myself having to really ground and keep my feet on the earth. I even joined a Kuduro dance class! (a fusion of African and Cuban dance) It’s been a blast!
I’m not sure what is coming next, but I do know that I feel excited and energized about the possibilities. I often say the affirmation “I’m open to miracles” during the day. I find that when I open to life, life presents all kinds of gifts and opportunities.
Speaking of gifts and opportunities, I was recently nominated for a 2013 SiriusXm Indie Award! (The Canadian Independent Music Awards) The winner is determined by the public vote so please vote for me if you feel moved to do so. The category is Children’s Artist or Group of the Year. And more good news… I am so happy to present my first of a series of videos from the CD Launch Show! Thank you to Josh Usheroff and his team at Black Box Productions in Montreal for doing such an outstanding job.
